Brought to you by Jethro Tull’s flautist Ian Anderson, this evening will be an intimately presented mixture of music, song and story.
In this experimental format, which he’s described as ‘the most fun thing I have done in music since I started thirty-five years ago’, Ian blends an abundance of anecdotes with a collection of Tull classics.
Guest musicians, local artists, and perhaps an unsuspecting audience member or two, will join Ian on stage to give Tull fans everywhere something completely new.
With some of the most sought after musicians in the UK, and the help of the Scottish Arts Council, John Rae set up Celtic Feet in 1998. Since then the band have been described as ‘new music out of old, made with wit, warmth and devotion’ (the Guardian).
Today the band consists of six outstanding musicians whose vibrant sound is created through a skilfully improvised combination of contemporary jazz and traditional Scottish music.
